Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, low-latency trading systems specifically optimized for equity options.
- Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers to implement and deploy option pricing models and risk management algorithms.
- Optimize existing codebases to reduce latency and improve execution speed in live market conditions.
- Ensure system resilience, data integrity, and security for all market data feeds and trade executions.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including code reviews, architecture planning, and technical mentoring.
- Debug and resolve critical issues in real-time environments, ensuring minimal downtime during market hours.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong proficiency in C++ (C++11/14/17/20) with a deep understanding of memory management, concurrency, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Python for scripting, data analysis, or prototyping financial models.
- Deep understanding of equity options markets, including Greeks, volatility surfaces, and exotic derivatives.
- Familiarity with financial data protocols (FIX, FAST) and market data vendors (Bloomberg, CQG).
- Experience working in Linux environments and using version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
