Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable software solutions for our equity trading platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA) to define feature requirements and deliver best-in-class user experiences.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using modern languages and frameworks.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
- Optimize application performance and ensure system reliability in a high-traffic environment.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least two programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, or C++).
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
