As a key member of our team, you will work in a hybrid environment (Detroit HQ & Remote) to build robust systems that power our next-generation platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design & Architect: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services and APIs.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define feature requirements and technical specifications.
- System Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, analyze data, and optimize application performance for speed and scalability.
- Testing & Deployment: Implement rigorous automated testing strategies and CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployments.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Tech Stack Implementation: Leverage cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) and modern frameworks to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Languages: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
- Frameworks: Strong experience with React, Node.js, or Spring Boot.
- Databases: Solid understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
- Cloud: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver solutions under tight deadlines.
