Responsibilities
- System Design & Development: Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while conducting thorough code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality features.
- Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize database queries, and improve application latency.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and contribute to the technical growth of the engineering team.
- CI/CD: Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Language: Proficiency in at least two of the following: Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.
- Databases: Strong experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
- Cloud: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Tools: Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and version control (Git).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
