Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using AWS and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Optimize system performance using profiling tools and database tuning
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform infrastructure-as-code
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement security best practices including OWASP compliance and data encryption
- Document architecture decisions using Confluence and Lucidchart
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Expertise in React, Node.js, and serverless architecture patterns
- Strong background in relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and CI/CD automation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
