Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using cloud-native technologies (AWS/GCP)
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical reviews
- Optimize system performance while maintaining 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using DevOps best practices
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years developing production-grade applications in Java/Python
- Expertise with containerization (Docker/K8s) and infrastructure-as-code
- Strong background in relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases
- Proven experience leading agile development methodologies
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Security-first mindset with experience in threat modeling
