Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architectures on AWS/GCP
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization and deployment automation
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct performance profiling and system optimization for high-traffic applications
- Implement robust security protocols and compliance frameworks
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of production software development in cloud environments
- Expert proficiency in Python, Java, or Go with modern frameworks
- Deep understanding of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and serverless computing
- Strong background in RESTful API design and GraphQL
- Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Proven track record of leading complex projects from conception to deployment
