Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable software applications using modern programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define features and translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks in production environments.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and design patterns to ensure long-term system stability and scalability.
- Engage in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience in a full-time capacity.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Java, with experience building RESTful APIs.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL, e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
