Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable ML infrastructure using Python, Go, and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with data scientists to deploy production ML models at scale
- Own end-to-end feature development from prototype to production deployment
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Optimize system performance for high-throughput data processing pipelines
- Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS/GCP with CI/CD automation
- Contribute to open-source ML frameworks and internal tooling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in production software development
- Expert proficiency in Python and at least one compiled language (Go/Rust/C++)
- Strong foundation in ML frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch) and distributed systems
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- Track record of shipping complex systems with high reliability standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to balance technical debt
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
