Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure software architectures for microservices and cloud-native applications.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards (e.g., SOLID principles).
- Mentorship: Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define features and deliver high-quality products on time.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize application performance, reducing latency and improving overall system throughput.
- Testing: Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure system reliability.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience in a production environment.
- Languages: Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Java (experience with both backend and frontend languages is preferred).
- Cloud & DevOps: Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Databases: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
