Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and contribute to technical strategy discussions
- Optimize system performance for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through pair programming and architecture sessions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps tools
- Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go/Java
- Expertise in distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Strong understanding of AWS/GCP cloud services
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with gRPC, Protobuf, and message queues
- Track record of shipping high-impact products at scale
