Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Optimize database performance for high-traffic government applications
- Collaborate with product teams to define technical roadmaps
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform
- Ensure compliance with FISMA and FedRAMP security standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go or Python
- Expertise in AWS/GCP cloud services and serverless architecture
- Strong background in relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and caching
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization
- Familiarity with government contracting processes and compliance requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
