Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and establish CI/CD best practices
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and Redis
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements
- Mentor 3-4 junior engineers through pair programming
- Contribute to architectural decisions and tech roadmap
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java
- Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems principles
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to deliver production-level systems
