Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Go and Kubernetes for high-transaction financial APIs
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Terraform, Jenkins, and AWS
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Conduct code reviews ensuring adherence to SOLID principles and security best practices
- Translate complex business requirements into elegant technical specifications
- Drive performance optimization for systems processing 10k+ transactions/second
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (MS preferred)
- 5+ years building production-grade backend systems in cloud environments
- Expert proficiency in Go, Python, or Java with distributed systems experience
- Strong AWS/Azure certification (Solutions Architect or equivalent)
- Proven track record of leading complex projects from conception to deployment
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Portfolio demonstrating open-source contributions or technical publications
