Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle development of scalable cloud-based applications using Python, Java, and AWS
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Design and implement microservices architecture with Docker and Kubernetes
- Optimize database performance using PostgreSQL and Redis
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and documentation of code
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expert proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, or JavaScript)
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proven track record of building RESTful APIs and microservices
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
