Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot and Python
- Lead cloud migrations to AWS with CI/CD pipeline automation
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize database performance using PostgreSQL and Redis caching
- Develop RESTful APIs with comprehensive API Gateway integrations
- Implement DevOps practices using Terraform and Docker/Kubernetes
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong background in relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
- Proven track record with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven design
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system design experience
- Strong communication skills with remote team collaboration experience
