Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of microservices architecture using Java/Spring Boot
- Develop cloud-native solutions on AWS with CI/CD automation
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize system performance and resolve complex technical challenges
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement security best practices and compliance standards (PCI, GDPR)
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Python, and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Proven experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
