Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services using Java/Spring Boot and AWS Lambda
- Lead code reviews and architectural discussions for microservices deployments
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Optimize database performance for high-transaction payment processing systems
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and internal innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Kotlin
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
- Experience with payment processing systems or fintech applications
- Agile/Scrum methodology proficiency with JIRA experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
