Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Optimize system performance and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to architecture decisions and technical debt reduction initiatives
- Implement robust security practices and data encryption protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development
- Strong proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda) and cloud architecture
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Proven track record of shipping production code at scale
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
