Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and optimize deployment processes for AWS infrastructure
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and participate in tech community events
- Champion best practices in testing, documentation, and security protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python or Go
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and caching strategies (Redis)
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (RabbitMQ/Kafka)
- Proven track record of shipping production systems with high availability requirements
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate asynchronously
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
