As a key member of our 15-person engineering team, you'll architect and implement next-generation microservices using modern cloud infrastructure. We foster a collaborative environment where your ideas directly impact product direction and user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js and Python
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Optimize database performance and implement caching strategies with Redis
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker for seamless deployments
- Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement security best practices and conduct regular vulnerability assessments
- Contribute to architectural decisions for cloud migration projects
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with JavaScript/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and serverless architectures
- Strong proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions
- Proven track record of shipping production-ready code at scale
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments
