Responsibilities
- Architect and implement distributed systems using Go and Kubernetes
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead technical design sessions with product stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Implement security-first practices across all cloud infrastructure
- Drive observability initiatives with Prometheus/Grafana stacks
- Contribute to open-source tools in our engineering ecosystem
Qualifications
- 5+ years of backend development experience
- Expertise in Go, Python, or Java with strong CS fundamentals
- Proficiency with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of GitOps and infrastructure-as-code
- Demonstrable experience with performance optimization
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
