Responsibilities
- Design and implement distributed systems using AWS/GCP microservices architecture
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers in agile development practices
- Optimize APIs and databases for 99.99% uptime and sub-200ms latency
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and patent innovations
- Collaborate with product teams to roadmap technical initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development (Java/Python/Go)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ production-level systems
