Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Jenkins and Terraform
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
- Troubleshoot complex production issues across AWS infrastructure
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming
- Drive technical debt reduction initiatives
- Represent engineering in sprint planning and architecture sessions
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development (Go/Python preferred)
- Expertise in distributed systems and cloud architecture (AWS/GCP)
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and gRPC protocols
- Proficient with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of mentoring junior engineers
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues
