Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Jenkins and Docker
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
- Troubleshoot complex production issues with advanced debugging tools
- Drive architectural decisions for scalability and performance
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Collaborate with product managers to define technical requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs
- Strong AWS knowledge (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform preferred
