Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using cloud-native technologies (AWS/GCP)
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Architect solutions for high-traffic fintech applications handling 10K+ RPS
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Kubernetes)
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Optimize system performance and ensure 99.99% uptime through rigorous testing
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent Nexus at industry conferences
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in production-level software development
- Expertise in at least one modern language (Python/Java/Go) and JavaScript frameworks
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong background in distributed systems and database optimization
- Experience leading technical projects from conception to deployment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in agile environments
- Portfolio demonstrating impactful contributions to complex systems
