Responsibilities
- Architect and implement secure microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead development of real-time threat detection systems processing 10M+ events daily
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and design sessions
- Optimize system performance to achieve 99.99% uptime SLA
- Collaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines in AWS
- Contribute to security research and publish technical whitepapers
- Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go/Java/Python
- Expertise in distributed systems and cloud architecture (AWS/Azure)
- Strong background in building RESTful APIs and event-driven systems
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Knowledge of security best practices (OWASP, NIST frameworks)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD tools, and testing frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and system design abilities
