Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Optimize database performance for high-transaction financial systems
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS and Terraform
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
- Conduct root cause analysis of production incidents
- Present technical solutions to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go or Java
- Expertise in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
- Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
- Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience with payment processing or fintech systems
- Fluency in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
