Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Lead code reviews and enforce CI/CD best practices within our Kubernetes environment
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize database performance through advanced SQL indexing and query tuning
- Implement robust security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent the company at tech conferences
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with Java and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and event-driven architectures
- Proven track record of optimizing high-throughput distributed systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence workflows
- Contributions to GitHub with 100+ open-source commits preferred
