Responsibilities
- Design and develop cloud-native microservices using AWS and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming and architecture planning
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL, Redis) and troubleshoot production issues
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Contribute to open-source projects and present technical findings at quarterly showcases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience with backend development (Python/Java/Go)
- Expertise in container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and event-driven architecture
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (Pytest, JUnit) and TDD methodologies
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI)
