Responsibilities
- Lead development and deployment of microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Design and implement RESTful APIs with 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Optimize database performance using PostgreSQL and Redis caching strategies
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and present technical findings at meetups
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years professional development)
- Expert proficiency in Java, Python, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular)
- AWS certification (Solutions Architect or Developer) with production cloud deployment experience
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven design patterns
- Proven track record of delivering scalable SaaS platforms with high-volume transaction systems
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence workflows
