Responsibilities
- Design and implement distributed systems handling 10M+ daily API calls
- Mentor 3-5 engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize Kubernetes clusters for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using GitLab and Terraform
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Contribute to open-source projects used by Fortune 500 companies
Qualifications
- 8+ years of production experience with Go/Java/Python
- Expertise in AWS/GCP services (Lambda, S3, GKE)
- Strong background in event-driven architectures
- Proven track record of shipping scalable microservices
- Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating system design solutions
