Responsibilities
- Lead development of microservices using Java, Go, and Python
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Kubernetes
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through code reviews and technical workshops
- Optimize system performance and security protocols
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source initiatives and industry conferences
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with cloud-native architectures
- Expertise in AWS, Docker, and container orchestration
- Strong proficiency in at least two of: Java, Go, Python, or Rust
- Experience with event-driven systems and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Proven track record of mentoring technical teams
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design solutions
