Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Node.js and Python on AWS infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and architectural decisions for containerized applications
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and MongoDB clusters
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker for automated deployments
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement security best practices including OAuth2 and API gateway configurations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend framework (Node.js, Django, or Spring)
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture (AWS preferred)
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Knowledge of maritime logistics or supply chain systems is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments
