Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure)
- Lead security-first development practices for enterprise applications
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical workshops
- Optimize system performance and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source security tooling initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development in cloud environments
- Expertise in at least two: Java, Python, Go, or C#
- Strong understanding of security frameworks (OWASP, NIST)
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and IaC (Terraform)
- Experience with agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
