Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance microservices using Java/Spring Boot
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices across distributed teams
- Optimize database queries and AWS infrastructure for 99.99% uptime
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Contribute to open-source projects and tech community events
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of production experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Proficiency in RESTful API design and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and caching strategies
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system architecture design
- Portfolio demonstrating complex projects deployed at scale
