Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and Python
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Jenkins and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, compliant aerospace software
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architecture sessions
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with AWS/Azure cloud services
- Conduct performance testing and implement scalability improvements
- Stay current with DoD cybersecurity standards (NIST, DISA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience (MS preferred)
- 5+ years building production-grade enterprise applications
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration
- Strong background in secure software development practices
- Experience with federal contracting and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor teams
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
