Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of microservices using Go and Python
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP for 99.99% uptime
- Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements with Jenkins and GitLab
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through code reviews and tech talks
- Collaborate with product teams to define technical roadmaps
- Implement security best practices including OAuth and data encryption
- Contribute to open-source projects and tech community events
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go/Python
- Expertise in distributed systems and database optimization (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
- Strong AWS/GCP certification or equivalent cloud architecture experience
- Proven track record of shipping production code at scale
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with event-driven architecture and message queues (Kafka, SQS)
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design solutions
