Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Go/Python on AWS/Azure infrastructure
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical reviews
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Jenkins and Terraform
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Own system architecture decisions for high-availability applications
- Drive code quality through comprehensive testing and refactoring
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with cloud-native architectures
- Expertise in at least one modern language (Go, Python, or Java)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven patterns
- Proven experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design and delivery
