Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of cloud-native payment processing systems handling 10M+ daily transactions
- Mentor 3-5 mid-level engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Architect RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Optimize system performance using Redis caching and DynamoDB partition tuning
- Champion CI/CD pipeline improvements reducing deployment time by 40%
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira and Confluence
- Present technical roadmaps to CTO and investors quarterly
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Go or Java
- Expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and AWS/GCP
- Proven track record of mentoring junior engineers
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
- Experience with event-driven patterns (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving skills with system design challenges
- Passion for fintech or high-transaction systems
