Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural planning, and technical mentoring for junior engineers.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex issues in production environments.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous integration and delivery.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to the technical roadmap.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on backend technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote-first culture.
