The Stack

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain high-quality, scalable software code for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, and engineering) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability, robustness, and maintainability.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct rigorous technical code reviews.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, including database queries.
- Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs in existing software systems.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and propose technical solutions to leadership.
Qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and React or Node.js.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, database management (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), and caching strategies.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).
