Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers while maintaining 95%+ test coverage
- Optimize database performance through advanced SQL/NoSQL tuning
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker for automated deployments
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct security audits and implement OWASP best practices across all codebases
- Present technical solutions to stakeholders through clear documentation and presentations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with Java and Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong background in RESTful API development and microservices architecture
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence workflows
- Experience with payment processing systems or fintech applications
- CI/CD pipeline implementation using Jenkins and Terraform
- Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrable portfolio of complex projects
