Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Optimize application performance and scalability using Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Lead security best practices including OWASP compliance and data encryption
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent the company at tech meetups
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years professional development)
- Expertise in Java, Python, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Node.js)
- Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) and container orchestration
- Strong background in RESTful API design and event-driven architectures
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Proven track record of delivering production systems with 99.9%+ uptime
- Excellent problem-solving skills and passion for clean, maintainable code
