Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Java/Spring Boot
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices across the development lifecycle
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL/MongoDB) and API latency
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Document system architecture and contribute to technical wikis
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development
- Expert proficiency in Java and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and RESTful APIs
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with container orchestration and infrastructure-as-code
- Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor teams
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and TDD principles
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
