Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance microservices using Java/Spring Boot and Python
- Lead architectural decisions and code reviews for critical system components
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using AWS and Terraform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features on tight deadlines
- Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in code quality and testing
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of building and deploying scalable distributed systems
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
- Strong communication skills and experience in collaborative environments
