Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead technical initiatives for cloud infrastructure migration to AWS
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through code reviews and architecture sessions
- Optimize database performance and implement caching strategies
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and DevOps practices
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Participate in agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go or Python
- Expertise in distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle ambiguous requirements
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
