Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using Go and AWS Lambda
- Lead code reviews and architecture discussions for new payment processing modules
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Optimize database performance for high-transaction financial systems
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform infrastructure-as-code
- Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents with PagerDuty alerts
- Present technical solutions to product stakeholders and executive leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go or similar compiled languages
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB) and cloud architecture patterns
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, caching strategies, and API design principles
- Proven track record of shipping production-grade microservices at scale
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and infrastructure-as-code
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system design interview experience
