Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of microservices using Java/Python on AWS cloud infrastructure
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural discussions
- Optimize system performance to handle 10K+ RPS with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and patent novel technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years building production-grade distributed systems
- Expertise in at least two: Java, Python, Go, or Rust
- Deep understanding of cloud-native patterns and security best practices
- Proven experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and caching strategies
- Strong background in API design (REST/gRPC) and event-driven architecture
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system implementations
