Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Architect cloud infrastructure solutions leveraging Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize system performance through database tuning, caching strategies, and load testing
- Implement robust security practices and compliance standards across the tech stack
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent the company at tech conferences
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Spring ecosystem
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of building RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures
- Strong background in database design (SQL/NoSQL) and performance optimization
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills with experience mentoring junior developers
